Class morning 9:30 - 12:30pm
Class afternoon 1pm - 4pm
Join us to learn this crochet stitch technique known as Amigurumi - very different to ‘flat’ crochet such as the traditional granny squares, here we are working 3D. Create your own Autumn pumpkin! Rebecca shows you how to get started, the 3 simple stitches you’ll need and how to hand stitch assemble it together.
All materials are provided, handmake your own unique size, shape and colour! Anything from 5cm to 20cm time allowing, crochet is easy to continue at home, why not make a series for your Autumn fireplace or door wreath. A written guide/instruction page is provided for you to take away.
Our crochet class is flexible for all abilities from complete beginner to those with some experience. We suggest age 14 upwards however get in touch to see if your younger ones could take part. To introduce crochet Rebecca will demonstrate, and the class works together following her at the same pace. Max group size 12, Rebecca is able to pass through the class continuously offering advice 1:1 so those who need a little extra help being NEW to crochet will get that! Where others with some experience can go ahead making.
Rebecca offers a friendly and relaxed session and is on hand to help with any crochet challenges we encounter along the way. See lots of Amigurumi patterns and learn how to read them. Perhaps you will make some Autumn leaves to sit alongside your pumpkin.
NOTE - Class ticket does not include a wreath, we sell them in our shop! Photo is showing the further assemble possibility.
