At Clever Hands we comply with UK law as follows:

Companies in the United Kingdom are compelled by law to issue refunds and accept returns from customers, regardless of the reason for the return if the request for a refund occurs during the first 14 days following a purchase. The customer has another 14 days to make a return after notifying the business. 

For items undamaged, not faulty where correct items have been delivered in the timeframe provided:

We offer a return/refund for customers who contact Clever Hands to submit that request within 14 days from purchase date and further ensure that the item is delivered to Clever Hands Studio Liverpool within 14 days of that return/refund request being submitted (postage paid by customer). NOTE Clever Hands does not refund any postage cost paid by the customer in the first instance, only the order value. 

Please allow 1-2 days after that item is received back to Clever Hands Studio Liverpool L17 0AF for the item to be processed and refund provided. Note it can take up to 3-4 days for the refund to appear back into a bank account.

For damaged, faulty, lost, delayed or incorrect items:

Clever Hands will pay that return postage cost at the most convenient service for the customer - to be agreed. Please allow 1-2 days after that item is received back to Clever Hands Studio Liverpool L17 0AF for the item to be processed and refund provided. Please note it can take up to 3-4 days for the refund to appear back into a bank account.

In some cases a refund can be given to a customer without return of that item. This is Clever Hands discretion.

For missing or substantially delayed items, please allow a maximum 10 days after the expected delivery date for an investigation by the courier. If that item is still not located a full refund is provided or a replacement provided by fast courier.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Custom products (such as special orders or personalised items where specific ink colours have been chosen) unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on these or sale items and gift cards.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

For workshops and classes. 

All in-person class tickets are non-refundable.

If you can no longer attend, you may transfer or resell your ticket to another person. You must notify Clever Hands in advance by emailing hello@cleverhands.shop with the replacement attendee’s details.

Where a class is sold out, we may, at our discretion, try to resell your place. If your ticket is successfully resold, we may allow you to transfer to another class date. Transfers are not guaranteed.

Please note that each class is marketed and advertised in the 12 to 16 weeks before the event. Moving a booking to another date can create a financial loss on the original class and remove a space that could otherwise be sold on a future date.
