Alexis Butterfield
Alexis is a painter based in Liverpool, with a particular interest in historic places, architecture and the way we experience and remember our surroundings. With a 25-year background in architecture, his work explores the character of buildings, streets and overlooked places, using painting, drawing and collage to capture more than just a straightforward view.
His mixed-media work often combines paint, ink, printmaking and collage, building up layers of colour, line and texture. Rather than aiming for a perfectly literal representation, Alexis is interested in the atmosphere, memory and history of a place, allowing each painting to develop through observation, research and experimentation.

We deliver across the UK, with free delivery on orders over £50. International delivery is available via our Etsy shop.

UK orders usually arrive within 3–5 working days. International orders may take longer depending on location.

Unopened kits can be returned within 14 days of purchase. Unfortunately, we can’t accept returns once a kit has been opened.
