Workshop Crochet for beginners

Local Crochet expert Rebecca is hosting with Clever Hands a series of 3 workshops aimed at complete beginners! In fact she lives a few doors away from Clever Hands HQ - and is on hand to help with any crochet challenges we encounter along the way. 

Crochet is a skill that involves using a hooked needle to create fabric or cloth by locking together loops of yarn or thread. The word "crochet" comes from the French word for "small hook" and can be mindful & relaxing in it's repetitive nature. Getting started is often difficult but here, Rebecca will chat about the materials, the equipment and show the most basic of crochet stitches to begin. Anyone with little or no creative experience can attend this class. 

A small group size, you will have plenty 1:1 tuition and can ask as many questions as needed. We put this series of 3 classes together so that anyone can attend all 3 and build on their confidence. However, if you prefer to attend just 1 session, Rebecca is happy to make her classes accessible to those who can only attend 1 or 2 dates. You may need to drop in 15 minutes ahead of others if you skip any weeks. 

The projects are super simple; if your project is not completed in that session, you will be given full guidance how to complete that at home. With the knowledge of basic stitches such as chain stitch, many creative projects can be made. You will be taught abbreviations for simple pattern reading and will be
