Nestled in the heart of Aigburth Liverpool, Clever Hands is a vibrant Art studio and shop. Founded in 2020 by Artist Catherine Carmyllie, here you will find a warm, welcoming space where creative exploration meets community spirit & mindfulness.
Inspire, educate, create
Amid the rush of everyday life, creativity often takes a backseat. We believe that making art nurtures fresh perspectives and relaxation. Our goal is simple, to make Art accessible to everyone: whether through hands on classes, thoughtfully curated kits or bite size video tutorials.
Studio workshops
At Clever Hands we offer a wide range of studio based classes in our inspirational space on Aigburth Road. Whether you choose a budget friendly session or a more comprehensive course, everything is beginner friendly and inclusive of all materials and equipment...just bring an open mind.
Our experienced tutors are all passionate about their craft, sharing examples of their own work and guiding you step by step. Tickets include tea and coffee: you will leave with a finished project and the confidence to continue at home

Browse our collection of handpicked treasures from small-batch brands and artisan makers. When you shop small, you support creativity, independence, and craft. We post orders daily (Monday to Friday), or you can pop into our Aigburth store, open Tuesday to Friday, 10–4.
