Think you can’t paint? Perfect. This beginner-friendly abstract art workshop hosted by Liverpool Artist Diane Moore is designed for anyone who wants to loosen up, switch off, and enjoy making art without pressure.
Join us for a relaxed and expressive mixed media art workshop where you’ll explore colour, mark making and intuitive composition in a calm, supportive setting.
No drawing experience needed. If you can hold a brush, make a mark, or doodle a line, you already have everything you need.

Time: 1pm – 4pm
Level: Beginner-friendly
Age: over 18.
What you’ll do
- Create a bold abstract underpainting using acrylics
- Layer expressive marks using fine liners and ink pens
- Explore colour, texture and composition
- Experiment with metallics and playful mark making
- Learn relaxing techniques inspired by neurographic art

- How to build an abstract composition with confidence
- Simple colour pairing techniques
- How to loosen up and create without overthinking
- Ways to use drawing and paint as a mindful creative practice
Diane will guide you with demonstrations, visual examples and gentle one-to-one support throughout, helping you find your own style and creative rhythm.
