Workshop upcycle scrappy beetle bug wall hanging

Scarlett will bring examples of her amazing upcycle projects, including clothing and 3D pieces. Have chance here to ask questions and hear a little about how Scarlett got started, her approach to upcycling and being a creative!

All materials and equipment provided, however bring along your own scrap fabrics to add into the mass body or special fabrics with personal memories to stitch over the body. Led by demonstrations, Scarlett shows you how to construct a bettle, you will take away your own hand made bug along with information on how to create a bug pincushion at home - this will be provided in a handout.

The more messy, wonky and creative you are the better!......a focus here on being expressive with stitch, not a technical embroidery class. Mostly adults attend however beginner skill level makes this class suitable for age 11 upwards.
