Portrait painting is easy when you know how!!
Danny is an experienced portrait artist and has easy ways to break down the task for somebody who never even painted before. You can paint yourself, a loved one, somebody famous....your dog!! or any pet past or present. All you need to provide is a photo to Danny ahead of the class - or you can choose to use a generic one we can provide. Danny will manipulate the photo in a 'pop art' style by bringing out certain tonal areas.
In the class, you will prepare your canvas base (A3) and do some short exercises to get familiar with the techniques before embarking on 'colour' blocking your portrait. Simply trace the key lines of the photo directly on the canvas - so virtually NO observational drawing skills required.
Intended to be abstract rather than photo realistic, your portrait will have character, personality and be a fun experience. Choose to paint in your own colours.

We deliver across the UK, with free delivery on orders over £50. International delivery is available via our Etsy shop.

Unopened kits can be returned within 14 days of purchase. Unfortunately, we can’t accept returns once a kit has been opened.
