Learn how to create beautiful ‘eco’ prints using sustainable methods on paper and fabric with local textile artist and botanical printer, Maggie Pearson.
Maggie will introduce you to the principles and practice of the tantalising process of botanical contact printing and its many, varied possibilities. You will learn how to create simple, lasting prints with seasonably available leaves from the local area on both paper and fabric using sustainable methods.
You’ll take home prints on paper which you can frame, or make into cards, gift tags or even small books. You’ll also print a tea towel or scarf, table runner/wall hanging with which to adorn your home.
Suitable for beginners age 11 upwards (supervised recommended under 16)
All materials & equipment provided. Start 1:30 - 5:30pm
