Workshop Christmas wreath in macrame

Get into the festive spirit and join us for a relaxed Saturday morning with Emer from Knottypotty.

You will see examples of Emers work along with demonstrations. Emer has been teaching macrame workshops for over 10 years which has provided her a deep understanding how best to approach this mindful arts and craft skill. 

Saturday morning class 10 - 12:30pm. Festive treats included. 

Learn the craft skill of macrame and also create your own unique large wreath to decorate your door or fireplace at home this festive season. The wreaths are made from cotton rope, offering an alternative decorative element.

Choose to leave your wreath simple and traditional macrame or take away and dress it up with real or faux foliage. Use your wreath every year, swapping out any extra dressing as you go. Perhaps re invent for a Spring or Easter wreath. Choose from Emer's amazing rope colours and get creative. 

You will be provided with a visual worksheet to take home. The workshop time takes around 2 to 2.5 hrs.

Beginner level, no experience necessary, all materials provided, age 10 upwards.
