Turn them into a wonderfully characterful Scrappy Fabric Gonk or Winter Fairy in this playful textile workshop with Scarlett of Afrayed Upcycling....a class for complete beginners no experience of sewing needed.
Using fabric scraps, trims and simple hand-sewing techniques, Scarlett will guide you through creating your own soft textile figure, complete with a tall hat, colourful clothing and plenty of personality.
Choose whether to make a festive gonk or give your creation more of a winter fairy feel. There will be lots of opportunity to experiment with colour, pattern and texture, and no two finished pieces will look the same.
All materials are provided, but you are very welcome to bring along your own fabric scraps, ribbons, trims or meaningful pieces of cloth to incorporate into your design.
This is a relaxed, beginner-friendly workshop with the emphasis on playful making rather than perfect stitching. The more individual, wonky and full of character your creation is, the better.
You’ll leave with your own handmade seasonal decoration, perfect for displaying at home throughout the winter months.

Unopened kits can be returned within 14 days of purchase. Unfortunately, we can’t accept returns once a kit has been opened.
