Create a colourful landscape on canvas in this relaxed, beginner-friendly painting class with local artist Diane Moore. Whether you paint often or have never picked up a brush before, this workshop is designed to help you enjoy the process and build confidence.
Diane is known for her vibrant work in paint, textiles and mixed media, and brings years of experience leading inspiring workshops and exhibiting her artwork locally. Through visual examples, live demonstrations and gentle guidance, she will show you how to create a loose acrylic landscape in your own style.
You will learn about composition, colour choices and how to use the colour wheel to create a balanced piece. Diane will also guide you through underpainting, blocking in your design, and adding texture with expressive brushstrokes and marks.
By the end of the session, you will leave with a finished 20cm square canvas, ready to hang at home or mount in a deep frame.
