Creative Writing Workshop: Stories & Connections
Join Liverpool writer and award-winning creative facilitator Liam Marshall for a relaxed and inspiring creative writing workshop at our Liverpool studio space, designed to help you get ideas out of your head and onto the page.
Whether you already enjoy writing or haven't written creatively since school, this friendly two-hour session is open to complete beginners. There is no pressure to produce anything perfect and no requirement to share your work with the group. This is simply a chance to explore ideas, experiment with words and enjoy the creative process.
Guided by Liam, you'll work through a series of original creative writing prompts and exercises designed to spark ideas and help you approach writing in new ways. Over the course of the workshop you'll create several pieces of your own writing, explore stories and connections, and discover ideas you might not have realised you wanted to write about.

Writing can do something that few other creative activities can. It gives us space to slow down, think differently and give shape to ideas, memories and stories that have been sitting quietly in the background.
This workshop is ideal if you've been curious about creative writing but don't know where to start, if you'd like to rediscover writing after time away, or simply want to spend a couple of hours doing something creative and completely different.
Come on your own or book with a friend. As with all our Clever Hands workshops, the emphasis is on trying something new in a welcoming, relaxed environment.
No previous writing experience is needed and there is no pressure to share your work.

Unopened kits can be returned within 14 days of purchase. Unfortunately, we can’t accept returns once a kit has been opened.
