After School Art Club

After School Art Club is informal and relaxed, all about fun and exploration aimed at any children age 5 upwards, usually primary school but we accommodate all ages. Drop off from 3:15pm we will handle the rest! Toast and juice, we start our art activity from 3:45pm to give kids plenty time to arrive from different places. We teach until 4:45/5pm so collect any time from around 5pm - we are here until 5:15pm and are flexible.

A focus on experimentation, the group will use a broad range of art materials perhaps some they never tried before. In this way developing new skills, igniting creativity and nurturing imagination. We learn to draw, paint, print and work with textiles. 

Danny Metz our class leader is a local Artist and Primary School Teacher with over 17 years experience. Danny has his own Youtube channel, ' Art with Mr Metz' where you can discover creative tutorials for use in classrooms and at home. Danny shares the core value at Clever Hands.....with a little guidance and direction, we can all gain the confidence to produce art we can be proud of. Each class caters for more simple craft activities aimed at younger learners, Danny providing an educational option for those children keen to learn more.
