Workshop macrame plant hanger
Fancy learning the ropes?
Come along to a knotting workshop with Knotty Potty for an introduction to the wonderful world of macrame. You will enjoy learning the a variety of knotting techniques to create your very own macrame plant hanger.
Aimed at complete beginners, this class is relaxed and informal. Children from 7 can take this class hosted by Emer our local macrame artist. You will see examples of Emers work along with demonstrations. Emer has been teaching macrame workshops for over 10 years which has provided her a deep understanding how best to approach this mindful arts and craft skill.
Choose your own colour and rope style: traditional rope, braided cotton rope and jersey T-shirt yarn. Make in traditional cream style, boho vibes, or a contemporary range including monochrome macrame or full colour pop.
Learn new techniques for yourself or perhaps use your new skills to make a handmade gift for another. The workshop includes all materials and instructions to make a plant hanger. You will be provided with a visual worksheet to take home.
If you find you’ve caught the macrame bug, additional materials, rope, beads etc will available to buy on the day for you to take away and make at home.
