In collaboration with Bev Evans Artist and Speedball gel plates, we put together this inspirational kit to help you get started on your gel print journey. Here the option to buy this kit in 2 ways:
1/ buy a kit without any paint/ink. Everything else included, provide your own acrylic paint or water based block print ink from either your own supplies at home, from our webshop here (add to basket and we will add to the kit box) or from another source
2/ upgrade to add 3 pots of water based block ink in red, blue yellow 30ml pots.
Suitable for both a complete beginner or somebody with some arts & crafts experience looking to enjoy a new skill, gel plate printing is super easy. A simple process of applying paint or ink to the gel surface using a roller, then pressing down by hand with paper to transfer the paint design, otherwise known as monotype printmaking.Have fun finding leaves and feathers to print with or household textures, a great activity with kids. Bev has recorded video tutorials, access to these is provided in the kit along with written step by step instructions.
