Workshop needlefelt a robin

Needle felting is a relaxing and magical process.

Thursday 21st Nov and Thursday 12th December, both dates are evening class, 6:45 - 9pm. Beginner level age 14 upwards. 

Catherine has over 20 years of textile experience and will guide you through each step to create a base, blend wool colours and techniques for using the different sizes of needles. Plenty examples and with enough time you can create a Robin or a pair...plenty materials in your kit to complete at least 1 in the class and time allowing a second robin (or finish at home) to have at home as decoration or to give as handmade presents.

Choose a simple method to begin if you prefer (a hanging bauble type robin) or go straight to a mid level project with wings, tail, copper wire legs and wood base. Choose to accessorise with a crown, bow tie, top hat, champagne cork, red berries, or Santa hat!

WARNING - needlefelting is addictive....

All techniques are suitable for complete beginners or those who felted a little before and want a refresh or to see a different approach. Age 14 upwards. Catherine has plenty workshop experience and will share different techniques. Make this as difficult or easy as you like. All equipment and materials provided along with tea coffee.
