This creative class will be hosted by Bev Evans Artist & Maker.

April 5th, 1-4pm

May 31st, 1-4pm

Decoupage is such a creative and versatile art form! It’s amazing how something as simple as paper cutouts can completely transform an object into a work of art. The process of gluing these cutouts onto surfaces like boxes, furniture, or even household items, and then adding layers of paint, gold leaf, or varnish to seal and protect the design, allows for endless customisation.

The beauty of decoupage is in its adaptability. You can use magazine clippings, wrapping paper, vintage photos, or even custom-made decorative papers, making it a great way to personalise or repurpose items. Whether it’s a shabby chic décor piece, a vintage-inspired design, or a more modern, minimalist style, the possibilities are endless.

This class is aimed at beginners and experienced arty folk alike - age 14 upwards but get in touch for queries on suitability.

You will see plenty examples, bring along your own items to upcycle if you choose, wine bottles, vintage ceramics, jam jars...However Bev will supply all materials and equipment needed such as bases to work with, decoupage papers and glues. Time allowing, you'll have chance to decorate 3 items. Why not opt for Bev's mystery lucky dip item and challenge yourself to decoupage something unusual.

Easy to continue at home once you have the 'know how' and decoupage is inexpensive too!
