Join us as we explore the fascinating world of Victorian cyanotype sunprints. Beginner level, no previous experience, artistic or photographic skill required!

Class - 19th April either morning or afternoon.

During the workshop you will learn the traditional process of creating beautiful blue and white 'photographic' prints using daylight, objects and botanical specimens.

Rachel Brewster-Wright from Little Vintage Photography will show lots of examples and talk about how to coat your own papers at home. Due to time, she has prepared papers for the class to use, she will show how best to compose your items, expose with light and reveal with fresh water drenching. Each student time for 3 prints to take away and frame approx A5 size. We sell solutions and kits in our shop and can help you decide which items might be useful to continue your journey at home.

Bring your own botanical treasures or small objects, or use the ones provided to create unique and intricate designs. You'll be amazed at the stunning results you can easily achieve with this traditional photographic technique.

The magical cyanotype process will enable participants to capture and create their own memories as well as learning about a pioneering photographic process. So, whether you're a photographer, an art & craft enthusiast, a nature lover, or simply want to try a new and exciting experience, this event is not to be missed.
