Workshop acrylic painting for beginners

Starting with a blank canvas can be scary for everyone! This painting acrylic class will give you the confidence & knowledge as you learn how to break down the task and get started. Come along to our class taking place on 2 dates. Attend either class to learn a different set of techniques or sign up to both and complete a small homework task set between part 1 and 2 - gaining extra insight from our tutor Melanie. Each 2 hour class is £25 or book both together for £40. 

Part 1__Saturday 26th October __10:30 - 12:30pm

Part 2__ Saturday 2nd November __ 10:30 - 12:30pm

Suitable for beginners or those with some previous experience, this is a relaxing class with local Artist Melanie in which she will show examples of her own work, offer tips for best approach, which materials to go for and plenty demonstrations. All materials and equipment are provided. Feel free if you already have some kit, to bring it along. Age 16 upwards. You will produce at least 1 small painting at each class.

Painting with acrylics gives the vibrancy & heavy feeling of oils without the messy clean up. A forgiving medium for a beginner,  acrylic paints are quick to dry & easy to cover over when mistakes happen.

In the case of illness or other unforeseen circumstances we can offer a change of class OR you can transfer your ticket to somebody else allowing us to try to fill your space, please consider late changes mean a loss for Clever Hands and affects our business.
