Come and get a flavour of the natural magic of botanical eco printing in this morning session hosted by local botanical printer and textile artist, Maggie Pearson.
Maggie will introduce you to the natural wonder of this captivating process, explaining how plant pigments can be mobilised with sustainable methods with leaves in your own neighbourhood: harnessed to create unique prints on paper and cloth. You’ll be
surprised at the range of colours of prints which can be achieved on natural fibres.
You’ll then create your own unique eco prints on paper and will be able to use them to make cards, book marks, gift tags or even small books which will be distinctively your own and kind to the planet.
After this session, you’ll certainly have developed a taste for more.
