The Speedball Deluxe Block Printing Kit contains everything you need to design, carve and print your own artwork at home. Create bold linocut prints, handmade cards, repeat patterns and limited-edition artwork using the generous selection of professional-quality tools and materials included.
Choose between a traditional mounted lino block and Speedball’s softer Speedy-Carve block, which is particularly comfortable and easy to carve. Five interchangeable cutting blades allow you to experiment with fine lines, wider grooves and larger cleared areas.
The kit includes four water-soluble printing inks in black, red, yellow and blue. Use the primary colours individually or mix them together to create your own shades. A printing extender is also included, allowing you to create more transparent colours while maintaining the correct consistency for printing.
Once your design has been carved, roll out the ink using the soft rubber brayer and included bench hook and inking plate. Apply the ink to your block, press it onto paper and enjoy the best part: lifting the paper to reveal your finished print.
