There is even a chance the subject may be Clever Hands Shop itself. Alexis will be around until just after lunch time. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAlexis is a painter with a particular interest in historic places, architecture and the way we experience and remember our surroundings. With a 25-year background in architecture, his work explores the character of buildings, streets and overlooked places, using painting, drawing and collage to capture more than just a straightforward view.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eHis mixed-media work often combines paint, ink, printmaking and collage, building up layers of colour, line and texture.
